Engagers are required to become signatory to the Independent Theatre Agreement (ITA) and file a registration form with Equity for their production, workshop, or season.
Registering Your Project
Letter of Adherence
The Letter of Adherence commits an Engager to the terms and conditions of the ITA for the duration of their project(s) and for 60 days following the final performance of the last production. It is a voluntary acknowledgement of the Engager’s obligation to provide Artists with fair wages and working conditions comparable to those negotiated under the Canadian Theatre Agreement.
One Letter of Adherence may be signed to cover all productions during the course of a season.
