2026–2028 Equity Second City Agreement Ratified
Equity is pleased to announce the Equity Second City Agreement (ESCA) has been ratified. Thank you to all who voted!
Eligible members of Equity voted 100% in support of the proposed changes to the ESCA with a voting return rate of 55%.
The new agreement includes a 14% increase in fees over the life of the agreement as well as increases for Creative Compensation, improved language around publicity and promotional appearances and mandatory rehearsal time for Understudies.
The ratified terms of the ESCA come into effect immediately, retroactive to January 5, 2026.
