The terms of Equity’s collective agreements and engagement policies establish minimum fees and working conditions to ensure artists are paid fairly and treated with respect and dignity in the workplace.
Collective agreements are negotiated between Equity and the Engager or their association. Engagement policies are established by Equity and are designed to be more flexible, allowing for smaller-scale projects and even no-budget productions. They are intended to encourage more work opportunities for members, as well as promote the creation of member-led projects.
No matter what kind of project you want to work on, there’s an Equity contract that can protect you.
