The National Arts Centre Special Events Agreement (NACSEA) and National Arts Centre Music Department Agreement (NACMDA) are negotiated between Equity and the NAC, Canada’s bilingual, multi-disciplinary home for the performing arts.
The current agreements expire August 31, 2029.
It’s important to take the time to read the Agreement terms in their entirety to understand everyone’s rights and responsibilities under the agreement.
Engagers are responsible for maintaining safe and respectful workplaces. The Engager has a further obligation to provide workers with a recourse for raising concerns without fear of reprisal and to promptly investigate any safety concerns or incidents of inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

The National Arts Centre (NAC) is Canada’s bilingual, multi-disciplinary home for the performing arts. The NAC presents, creates, produces, and co-produces performing arts programming in a variety of streams, including Dance, English Theatre, and Indigenous Theatre.
