Non-Union Work is Not Okay

ACTRA members are more than 17 months into a lockout that has decimated their work opportunities in the commercial sector. Rather than resolving outstanding issues at the bargaining table, union-busting advertising agencies have opted to produce commercials non-union, while still expecting to hire professional talent. Equity reminds all its members not to work on non-union commercials, in accordance with our reciprocal agreement with ACTRA and more importantly, in solidarity with your fellow artists, whose livelihoods are under threat.
