The Festival Policy enables Equity members, collectives and independent producers to participate and showcase artistic activities in a festival setting.
Please be mindful — as the Festival Policy is designed to be more flexible and require less oversight by the Association, Equity members undertake activities under the Festival Policy at their own risk.
The Festival Policy is available for artistic activities that meet specific eligibility criteria and are produced by individuals, groups of individuals, collectives, and not-for-profit theatre companies.
Review the Policy Terms and Equity’s list of eligible national and local festivals so you’re familiar with the requirements and application process. Equity members may not rehearse or provide any service without Equity’s approval of the Festival Policy application.
