Council Education & Renewal
The Council Education and Renewal Committee – affectionately known as CERC – is responsible for:
- Ensuring candidates for Council understand the role and responsibilities of a Councillor
- Supporting Regional Election Committees and encouraging participation in Council elections
- Preparing newly elected Councillors for their role
- Providing ongoing training and development opportunities throughout a Councillor’s term
